He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Marketing. He has led strategy, traditional and digital media sales teams for over 25 years. Prior to joining Gannett and the Courier-Journal, he held senior leadership roles with the Washington Post, Tribune Publishing and Cox Automotive, Tribune Publishing. Eddie serves on several boards focused on improving local communities – especially with regard to the health and welfare of children.

Over the past 19 years, Chad has specialized in both digital and traditional advertising. His experience has included executive leadership, management, training and direct business-to-business development throughout the Midwest. Chad has had the opportunity to manage and develop offices in several different states and has worked with executives from a variety of fields to help create positive business solutions.
|Jeff Kuerzi, Auto Director
Jeff has over 25 years of marketing and media experience across television, print and digital platforms, working with national enterprise as well as SMB customers over my career. He focuses on gaining a deep understanding of client needs and objectives and tailor comprehensive plans to achieve them. With designations in Certified Inbound Marketing and Online Certified Marketing, and insights gained as a marketing practitioner in the IT industry, Jeff enjoys working with clients looking to build their marketing “machines”.

As an advertising sales and agency professional for 25 years, Maury's focus has been to provide customized solutions for national, regional and local companies in multiple markets. Prior to Courier-Journal Media, he was the VP of Client Development at LEAP, a full-service digital advertising agency, and the General Sales Manager for Insight Media (Cable Television).

Jeff has over 20 years of media sales and marketing consulting experience and is here to help you with all of your digital and print media solutions. Jeff has worked markets in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest and has experience working with businesses of all sizes and backgrounds.
|Tommy Spalding, Client Strategy Director
Successful marketing campaigns require knowledge of your target audience. Where do they live? What do they buy? What are their media habits? Tommy leads a client strategy team that answers these questions with data-driven solutions. Previuosly, he worked extensively in media research for local broadcast and cable television providers. Tommy holds a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University Southeast. If your business has a story to tell, he wants to help you tell it more often to the people who matter most.

With a background in Information Technology, Brian was formerly a Corporate Account Executive at a Fortune 500 company and a Sales Manager at a startup cloud computing firm. At CJMedia he was formerly a Digital Media Consultant and Digital Strategist, and now leads a team of Digital Strategists, Digital Optimization Specialists, Performance Marketing Analysts and Account Managers to develop, execute and optimize successful integrated marketing strategies to drive quantifiable ROI.
|Demetrius Booker, Art Director
Demetrius has had the pleasure of expressing his creativity at Courier-Journal Media over the past 11 years with both our traditional print products and across all digital platforms included in our marketing services. He previously worked with companies in the automotive industry, designing catchy visuals to ensure a high ROI. Most recently Demetrius has enjoyed working with larger key accounts, including ValuMarket, America’s Window, Kroger and Norton Healthcare.
|Alex Porter, Senior Client Strategy Manager
Alex has spent the past decade helping local businesses large and small gain a better understanding of target consumers by using top industry research to understand the unique lifestyle and media traits across both traditional and digital media. He has experience with numerous marketing research tools including TV viewership data, consumer segmentation and local market insights. Before joining CJ Media, Alex worked in client strategy for Time Warner Cable Media in the Louisville and Cincinnati markets.
|Arien Clevenger, Auto Client Strategy Manager
With over 12 years in digital marketing, Arien comes to CJ Media by way of the information technology, automotive and SaaS industries. She puts her experience in data-driven strategy to work helping clients find smart, creative and targeted solutions to their marketing challenges. Her previous positions include serving as director of marketing and marketing strategy consultant. Arien holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University with an emphasis in Marketing and dual minors in Psychology and Theatre.

Andrew has spent the last four years working with the digital marketing team at CJ Media, helping shape the strategy, execution and optimization of key account campaigns. He has helped advertisers not only achieve success with their campaigns, but also understand that success. With everything from designing creative for multiple digital platforms to providing customized reporting and everything in between…he is a true Renaissance man of marketing.
|Liz Morgan, Project Manager
Liz keeps the daily focus on top priorities, leads communication with internal teams, and also enjoys developing community event sponsorships (Courier-Journal Sports Awards, Courier-Journal Food & Wine Experience). She is responsible for planning, collaboration and building relationships across the entire CJ Media team, and does it all with a sense of humor. Liz is a problem-solver and a bit of a reporting nerd. She holds a BA from the University of Kentucky and previously worked in automotive marketing.
|Cathy Colliver, B2B Brand Manager Manager
Cathy has over 15 years of marketing experience, including corporate, non-profit and agency settings, with work in branding, project management, events, creative direction, copywriting, social media marketing and media planning. Cathy holds an MBA from Bellarmine University and a BA from Amherst College. She is a board member with Kentucky Derby Festival and volunteers with Every1Reads.
